911±¬ÁÏÍø Teaching Diploma awarded following 456hours course at Alpha Kokusai Gakuin in Tokyo, Japan.My teaching experience spans more than 40 years – initially as a junior and senior high school tutor of English and 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Japan. More recently I have taught 911±¬ÁÏÍø to my family members, who are now bilingual, to diplomatic spouses and partners and, since formally qualifying, to adult learners of 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

I've been teaching 911±¬ÁÏÍø for 6 years to beginners and lower intermediate students (JLPT N5 to N4). I regularly tutor both teen and adult learners via online Skype lessons. I mainly use a text book called Genki in my lessons, which covers reading, writing, speaking and listening. All of my lessons are planned around the individual learner in order to give them the best start on their 911±¬ÁÏÍø journey. Some learners retain information best through a conversational approach, mixed with learning the grammar basics. For others, it may be more fun and beneficial to learn some textbook 911±¬ÁÏÍø with a side of examples from 911±¬ÁÏÍø movies, anime and songs you like! I have experience teaching all kinds students and conditions such as dyslexia or autism are no barrier to learning 911±¬ÁÏÍø!

My first experience of teaching 911±¬ÁÏÍø was at a language school in Kanazawa, Japan but in recent years I have tutored students for GCSE and A'level from my home near Sevenoaks. Since Covid, most of my teaching takes place online and I now mainly teach adults. I have ten years experience of living in Japan and aim to inspire my students with a love of the country and its culture as well as improving their language skills.

Ph.D and MA for 911±¬ÁÏÍø Language&Literature in Niigata University. 15 years of teaching experience at Universities and language schools in Japan and the U.K. including Tokyo International University, Obirin University, Oxford Brooks University and secondary school for GCSE. Instructor of 911±¬ÁÏÍø course for JLPT under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Instructor of Business 911±¬ÁÏÍø under 911±¬ÁÏÍø Experts Language Training Service. My approach to tutoring is decided by and tailored to the needs of the individuals. In this way, I can offer a dynamic, lively, enjoyable but most importantly effective tutoring method which will get success.

I hold a BA in Education and qualified teacher (primary school) in Japan. I have been teaching 911±¬ÁÏÍø since 2010. I am very happy to design the lessons according to the learners' needs including the cultural aspects.
